I'm having a great weekend, how about you?
Yesterday was ridiculously busy and fun (according to my fitbit, I took 17,671 steps!), and today is turning out to be a super-relaxing day of crafts. It's the perfect balance.
4 things that are making me happy this weekend:
1. This flower crown that I bought at the Renaissance Festival yesterday. And the insanely adorable memory of my 2 1/2 year old niece wearing hers too.
2. Cutting up fabric with my new rotary cutter and sunshine yellow cutting mat. They're the silver lining to the tank top sewing project that I've been struggling with for the past few days.
3. This afternoon I'm rocking a french braided crown that I did on the first try, thanks to a crown braid tutorial on The House That Lars Built.
4. I'm also playing with my new stamps and dreaming up project ideas for the coming week. Brainstorming new projects is definitely one of my favorite parts about writing this blog.
What's making you smile this weekend?

One thing that's making me smile is that I finally borrowed my sister's tablet and am now able to add cool graphics to my blog :]
ReplyDeleteGood job on getting that braid looking great on the first try. I taught myself how to french braid when I was in middle school but that is the extent of my braiding skills haha

Do it! The tutorial cleared up a few questions I've always had about french braiding a crown braid. xoxo
